BRIDGEND COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL 'ATTENDANCE LAUNCH'

On Monday 18th, September all schools throughout Bridgend County Borough will promote the importance of school attendance and punctuality as part of a BCBC ‘Attendance Launch’. All schools will participate in a range of activities with a focus on improving attendance and punctuality. 

As part of this launch, there will be a multi-agency approach where learners who are not in school with an unexplained absence, i.e., you have not notified the school why your child is not in school, may receive a visit from partner agencies, including Early Help and Education Welfare Service.

Ar ddydd Llun 18 Medi, bydd holl ysgolion Bwrdeistref Sirol Pen-y-bont ar Ogwr yn hyrwyddo pwysigrwydd presenoldeb a phrydlondeb ysgol fel rhan o ‘Lansio Presenoldeb’ CBS Pen-y-bont ar Ogwr. Bydd pob ysgol yn cymryd rhan mewn amrywiaeth o weithgareddau gyda ffocws ar wella presenoldeb a phrydlondeb.

Fel rhan o’r lansiad hwn, bydd dull amlasiantaethol lle gall dysgwyr sydd ddim yn yr ysgol ag absenoldeb heb esboniad, h.y., nad ydych wedi hysbysu’r ysgol pam nad yw eich plentyn yn yr ysgol, efallai yn derbyn ymweliad gan asiantaethau partner, gan gynnwys Cymorth Cynnar a Gwasanaeth Lles Addysg.
