The first day of term for all pupils in Years 7 to 13 will therefore be Wednesday 6th September. Pupils in Years 8, 9, 10 11 & 13 will go directly to their form classrooms for registration at 8.40 a.m. All pupils in Year 7 will assemble in the Sports Hall for registration at 8.40 a.m. Year 12 pupils will receive information on induction following GCSE results day.

ALL STUDENTS ARE INVITIED TO WEAR AN ITEM OF RED CLOTHING (NON-UNIFORM DAY) TO SHOW THEIR SUPPORT FOR WALES AND VELINDRE ON FRIDAY 3RD FEBRUARY 2023 ALONG WITH A VOLUNTARY DONATION TO THE VELINDRE CANCER CHARITY.

We regret to inform you that Bryntirion Comprehensive School will be closed to all pupils on Wednesday 1st February 2023 (please see letter under Letters to Parents). The decision to close the school to pupils has been taken in consultation with the Chair of Governors, and has not been taken lightly. Pupils normally entitled to free school meals are able to collect a packed lunch from the school canteen on Tuesday 31st January.
